Thanks, once again, for a great year in 2010. 2011 is expected to be our best year yet. To continue with what we have offered we will be working on improving all aspects of our service provided from arrival to departure.
We feel that the most important part of our business is our guests. Anything we can do to improve their experience is what we want to focus on.
Last year we had the opportunity to work with several group functions with the largest of those functions being the “Tiara Rendezvous”. This was a three day event with over 120 people in attendance. We provided food service for two nights. Night #1 we provided “roaming appetizers” on the docks for the guests. Night #2 we had a full dinner on our peninsula under a 40’ x 80’ tent. This too went very well. A special thanks to all who attended and allowed us to serve them.
In September we had the honor of serving a number of Vietnam War Veteran Doctors and Nurses for a reunion. It was a spectacular evening with great weather, food, fun, and fellowship for all. A special thanks to Dr. Phil Hill and his wife Elizabeth for having faith in our services and allowing us to be a part of this special event.
As always, we want to say thank you to all of those who have made us a part of their summer plans. It is always a great pleasure for Lori and I to see and serve everyone who visits. We hope that your summer plans will once again include us as part of your boating travels and experience.
Sincerely, John and Lori Sarya
We are underway
with expanding our deli area in the Ship's Store. By
expanding the space we will be able to better serve you.
Our menu is primarily the same, with a few tweaks here and there
to improve your dining experience.
We are not anticipating any large changes in the patio or pool areas in 2011.
New this year will be one hour boat rides departing from the marina. The cost will be $25/person (subject to change without notice for fuel expense recovery). Maximum of 6 passengers per trip allowed. This is great for someone who wants to get off land and on water for pictures, wedding cruises, or whatever reason without committing to several hours on the water or fishing.
We will continue to have two charter boats this year for your fishing needs. For larger groups please contact us as we have several boats on “reserve” for those events. We can arrange everything including food for your trip. Please click here for rates, reservations and more information.
Jacobson Marina Resort is a 49-slip deep water marina, located in Frankfort, Michigan on the beautiful East Coast of Lake Michigan. The marina consists of thirty-five 45' slips, fourteen 60' slips, and a 2400 square foot clubhouse. The clubhouse houses shower and laundry facilities, the marina offices, a ship's store, deli, kitchen, and Great Room for our guests' enjoyment. The entire marina encompasses nearly four acres.
We constantly strive to improve our offerings of products and services. Currently we offer:
The marina is one short block off of Frankfort's main business district. Shops, restaurants, a pharmacy, hardware store, variety store, supermarket, public Lake Michigan beach, and much more are all located within a few short blocks of the marina.
When you arrive at the Marina, you will immediately notice first class service beginning with the landing of your boat all the way thru your departure. Our dock-hands are trained specifically to provide for your needs in all ways. It is our goal that in the event you decide to never leave your boat, you can still experience the service and experience of a great time for many days. If you do leave your boat, just a few steps away you may enjoy the pool and hot tub, and have the dock-hands bring your food to poolside. You can shop in the Ship's Store for your home, for loved ones, or to just bring something back to those who could not join you. Looking for something a little less active? Take a stroll over to the Peninsula and enjoy a beverage of your choice while watching the sunset.
